We loved it! Because my parents are from Louisiana, I could relate to the cajun feel of the movie. My two-year old danced through the entire movie. I loved the entire cast! How beautiful it was when Ray finally got to be with Angeline:-) Go see the movie. Take your daughters, nieces, cousins, moms, everyone! Can't wait to get it on DVD to add to all the other princess movies we've collected over the years! Just saw the movie with my eleven and two-year old. We loved it! I grew up on Disney movies and always wondered why there wasn't a Black one. It didn't stop me from getting wrapped up in the magic that is fairy dust and Prince Charming. Now at 24 years old, I get to re-live Disney movies but through the eyes of a princess that I can relate to. Loves it! I don’t have any children but I am BEYOND excited about this movie. We have several girl scout troops, Delta Gems, L.I.N.K.S. will also join us. After our viewing we will survey the little "princess" to see how the movie made them feel. We are having the girls wear their prettiest dress and putting tiaras and gloves on them for a day of elegance while we enjoy a Princess Tea Party and then off to the show together to view The 1st. We can never underestimate any image that is put in front of our children. I know how tainted I was growing up with Marcia Brady and Seventeen magazine. Yes, we should be further along but as far as my kids are concerned; if there are positive images today that are not shuffling around on TV, I wll make sure my kids are apart of feeling good about themselves. And I will work to make sure there are more. I am very excited about taking my two daughters and son to see The Princess and the Frog.
